BAC HQ
Design jobs, emails and deadlines lived in five places, and the designer and I kept chasing each other. Now one service gathers them and sends each person what they need, when they need it.
- InputsWeb task list, work inbox (read-only), roadmap items
- Python serviceAbout 7,200 lines. Scheduled by launchd, SQLite store, one module per topic
- TelegramTopics for roadmap, design, mail and meetings, with a 9am digest and calendar files
- SecuritySecrets live in an untracked .env file. Only allow-listed people get answers.
- PrivacyRead-only mailbox. Bank emails show the subject only, and it refuses to store NRIC, card or bank numbers.
- ReliabilityCatches up after the machine sleeps. A dry-run mode replays a script before any change goes live.
- CostNo hosting bill: it runs on hardware the team already had.
On a cloud platformMove it to a managed container runtime with a scheduler and a secrets manager, so it no longer depends on one laptop being awake.
